Mark Tribe is an artist and curator. He is the founder and director of the online new media art community Rhizome.org (founded in 1996) and Director of Art & Technology, at the School of the Arts, Columbia University, New York. He is curating Tijuana Calling, an online curatorial project for inSite_05 in Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego, California. Other recent curated projects include Digital Boundaries: Multiculturalism, Identity, and Awareness which he co-curated for ACM Multimedia 2004 in New York. Agenda for a Landscape, New Museum, New York, (2002), net.ephemera, Manchester, (2001) and , New Museum New York (2000).
