Joshua Decter is a curator and writer. His exhibitions approach the central thematics of contemporary art with particular attention to film and video. He is a professor at the School of Visual Arts in New York. His exhibition projects include: Tele[visions] (Vienna, 2001–02); Heaven: Public View/Private View (PS1, New York,1998) and a/drift (The Center for Curatorial Studies Museum, Bard, 1997).
