Born 1967 in Stuttgart, lives and works in Stählemühle, Münchhöf, Bodensee, Germany.

Christoph Keller is an editor, designer and curator. He is founder and former director of Revolver -- Archiv für aktuelle Kunst, a non-profit publishing house based in Frankfurt am Main, specialised in artists' books, exhibition catalogues, audio projects and artists' writings.

Keller has curated various exhibitions, such as the exhibition series Circles (1-5, 2000/2001) at ZKM (center for art and media), Karlsruhe, where he was commissioned as „curator-in-residence“ by the Siemens Arts Program, the exhibition series Am Parlamentsplatz, Revolver’s exhibition space in Frankfurt (17 solo shows), Black Friday at Joanna Kamm Gallery, Berlin, and the group show Saltuna – the Baltic Sea Experience, at the Rooseum, Malmö.

Since 2001 Keller has organized and curated Kiosk  – Modes of Multiplication, a traveling archive on independent publishing, including about 360 international publishing projects like small publishers, magazines, fanzines, audio and video projects on contemporary art ca. 4.900 individual publications). Kiosk has been shown in 19 different institutions, amongst them Manifesta 4, the 25th Biennial of Graphic Arts in Ljubljana 2003, the Istanbul Biennial 2005, Witte de With, Kunst Werke, Berlin, and the ICA (Institute for Contemporary Art), London. Kiosk will be travelling New Zealand (Artspace, Auckland, and Physics Room, Christchurch) and Canada (Charles H. Scott Gallery, Vancouver) in 2006.

In January 2007, Keller will start a new series of artists’ books, published by the Swiss publisher JRP/Ringier, Zurich, entitled Christoph Keller Editions. The publishing series is aiming to explore the bandwidth of artistic book making and the mediation of contemporary art in the printed format of the book. The first books within the edition will be artists’ books by Helen Mirra, Peter Piller, Ryan Gander, Jonathan Meese/Slavoj Zizek, Ammanuelle Antille, and Mai-Thu Perret.
